Come celebrate International Translation Day 2017 with us!
A globally recognized yet often overlooked holiday is approaching. On the 30th of September, the world celebrates International Translation Day. It is a date that has been promoted since 1953 by the International Federation of Translators. Initially, this was a feast day of St. Jerome, the Bible translator who is considered the patron saint of translators.
International Translation Day continues to be a significant day meant to honor the translation community and show pride for a profession that brings the world together. Traditionally, CTA celebrates International Translation Day on September 30th with Happy Hours held at several locations around Colorado.
There is no need to RSVP. Come by yourself or bring your spouse, partner or friends. The only cost is what you order. And for CTA members, your first drink is on us!
Please note that not all Happy Hours take place at the same time.
